Children orphaned by the Haiti earthquake now live in orphanages after losing parents in the disaster. Some are abandoned there by parents who cannot cope with caring for them.
Often, those who suffered terrible losses also suffered terrible injuries, many in the orphanage have lost limbs.
Many other children are left in the camps of Haiti. Places that were initially set up as temporary emergency shelter but which are becoming permanent homes for families.
Those that do live with parents in the camps live with parents who can barely cope with what life has become in the devastated country.
Orphanage director Gena Herarty said that the earthquake lives on in Haitian children's minds to this day.
