Shen Yun Performing Arts, the world's premier Chinese classical dance company, is currently touring North America. After seeing the show in Montreal, Canada, audience members were favorably impressed.

[Maria Elektorowicz, Professor, Concordia University]:
"We just discussed a few seconds ago how it was a beautiful combination. The music with dancing, with performance and also with colorful costumes."

Other audience members commented on the solo singers.

[Bernard Bertrand, Aircraft Engineer]:
"Something that impressed me a lot was the female singer, the power of her voice. We are so used to hearing people from Italy or Spain regarding voices for classical music, that we appreciate it a lot. It is new for us."

[Pierre-Antoine Fernet, Graphic Designer & Photographer]:
"What impressed me were the singers. When there was a singer alone, there was a tenor, the voices were powerful. I found it impressive. I have seldom heard a singer sing so powerfully."

Shen Yun's orchestra combining both classical Chinese and classical Western instruments intrigued him.

[Pierre-Antoine Fernet, Graphic Designer & Photographer]:
"The music, the classical music was very beautiful. I would have loved to have seen the orchestra. It was hidden."
