Orange County native Cole Simlar is known for his progressive high performance short boards that have been ridden by the likes of Bruce Irons, Ryan Carlson and Teddy Navarro. Take a look inside Cole's shaping room as he adds his signature touches to the board he's entering in the third annual "Billabong Art of Shaping: Orange County Edition." The 2010 Art of Shaping debuts August 13th at ASR Marketplace and August 14th at Sacred Craft Consumer Surfboard Expo in downtown San Diego. An auction on August 14th starting at 6PM will feature Simlar's board along with 21 others from the top shapers in Orange County to benefit the SIMA Humanitarian Fund.
