Lido Key is located just off Sarasota mainland, a short drive over the John Ringling Causeway from downtown. Lido Key is home to impressive white sand beaches, the beautiful South Lido Beach Park, and world famous St. Armand's Circle, which provides world class shopping and dining in an eclectic and fun atmosphere. Lido Key is less populated with residential options than some of the other Keys, but does offer homes directly off St. Armand's, condominium towers that line and overlook Lido Key Beach, and unique residences tucked away under oak and pine trees in exclusive waterfront enclaves. Just to north is Ken Thompson Park and Mote Marine Aquarium, and the gateway to Longboat Key.
