Dr. Newby is the newest addition to the practice with a special interest in surgery and wound care. She is currently involved in epidemiologic research pertaining to hepatitis and diabetes. She is an advocate of preventative medicine and believes that patient education should be a priority in the field of medicine.
A native of Seattle, she received her Bachelor of Science
from the University of Washington with a major in Microbiology and a minor in Russian. Her doctorate was obtained from Temple University in Philadelphia and she attended a surgical residency in Dayton Ohio. She currently resides in Worthington and her personal interests include running, rock climbing, entertaining, and cooking.
