Pinot Blanc is a variety that is often forgotten about and doesn't see quite the distribution that grape varieties do. This is unfortunate because of what Pino Blanc can do as a pairing wine as well as a transitional wine for those looking to move more into dryer whites. Although you can find Pinot Blanc in several countries including spain and italy, where it's referred to as Pinot Bianco, I wanted to get one from a more traditional area, so I went with the Alsace region of France.
