When they reached adulthood Genius decided to leave and join the military, Money stayed in the streets. When Genius returned home he hooked back up with his cousin money and they went straight to work combining what they'd both learned into a joint venture. After months of hard work they released "Genius & Money" August 2009. Their styles seam polarized at times. C-Genius is the smooth, methodical, melody driven MC, while money brings a raw uncut street mentality to the table. Blending these two flavors of Hip Hop together definitely brings a notable sound and a diversity rarely seen in today's industry.
