Hugh Hefner has proved age is no obstacle by proposing to his girlfriend, Crystal Harris, who is 60 years his junior.
The Playboy tycoon popped the question on Christmas Eve and took to Twitter to announce the news.
The following day Hefner wrote: "After the movie tonight, Crystal & I exchanged gifts. I gave Crystal a ring. A truly memorable Christmas Eve."
The 84-year-old, whose divorce from his second wife Kimberley Conrad was only finalised in March this year, later confirmed what the ring was for.
"Yes, the ring I gave Crystal is an engagement ring. I didn't mean to make a mystery out of it. A very merry Christmas to all."
24-year-old Crystal Harris also took to Twitter to confirm the engagement and wrote: "The most memorable Christmas ever".
