Authorities in China have sentenced a woman to a year in a labor camp for a Twitter post.

Cheng Jianping had re-tweeted a message written by her fiancé last month that mocked anti-Japan protestors in China.

The tweet suggested the protesters should smash the Japan Pavilion at the World Expo. Chen's fiancé Hua Chunhui says it was meant to be satirical, but authorities didn't see it that way. Authorities said the messages amounted to "disturbing social stability." They sentenced Chen to a year of forced labor in her hometown in Henan province.

The Chinese regime has banned Twitter and other social networking websites, as part of its online censorship.
