Activity of Mount Merapi increased to increase the number of refugees to reach 11,236 people Klaten. They are scattered in 12 points established refugee camps in four districts namely sudden Kemalang, Kebonarum, Karangnongko, and Manisrenggo.
Three points refugee camps in the village of Klaten bunch, Keputran, and Bawukan, District Kemalang which had been established previously not able to accommodate refugees. Because of this, thousands of residents forced to make impromptu refugee camps.
