Iranian asylum seekers on hunger strike in Greece

Twenty-five Iranian asylum seekers have gone on hunger strike in the Greek capital to draw attention to their precarious situation. An estimated 46,000 people are believed to be waiting for an answer on their asylum requests in Greece which, in recent years, has had one of Europe's lowest approval rates with only 0.9 percent of applications accepted.
