In the latest episode of the 2010 Pius X High School Football Story from High School Football America, we take you into the heart of Game Day. This is Part 1 of a two-part look at the Royals season opener against Pottstown. With the support of first year head coach Phil Stamaugh, High School Football America founder/editor-in-chief Jeff Fisher has been able to captured 35-hours of footage of the Royals during the 2010 season. Included in that footage is an all-access look inside the first game of the season against Pottstown.
Stambaugh wore a microphone from the time he arrived at Amelio Scott Alumni Stadium at 7:15 a.m. on September 4th until the end of the game. I've broken the day into two parts to give fans an inside look at how Stambaugh's first game as a head coach unfolded.
The Royals lost their opener to the Class AAA Trojans, who have lost six straight since their 27-20 victory.
