Despite saying he felt poorly, Russell Brand still made it onto the yellow carpet for the premiere of his new movie Despicable Me.
Brand voiced one of the characters in the cartoon alongside Steve Carell and Jason Segel.
But minutes before the screening in London's Leicester Square on Monday night the actor and comedian tweeted saying he felt unwell and needed mollycoddling.
That did not stop him making an appearance. Chatting to the press he said:'' I am worn out I think. Showing off too much.''
Russell was joined by his co-star Carell at the event. As well as hundreds of fans and celebrities including Jason Donovan and Charlie Simpson.
Despicable Me is out October 15.
