After a month of preparation, a fortnight of publicity and with many different organisations lending their aid to the night, Nahda and Ansar, with the aid of the Muslim youth at large, and the help of Allah swt almighty, held perhaps the first such Muslim youth event to be held in Sydney, Australia. Bringing together various organisations, the event was attended by a crowd of some 380 people; 230 brothers and 150 sisters. The sisters section of the venue exceeded capacity, and extra chairs had to be organised for brothers also.
