Sun Jixiang is a Chinese contemporary artist living in Songzhuang, Beijing. He paints in a traditional Chinese "splash-ink" style, combined with elements of Western painting. His trademark series is called "Dream Lotus". In the interview, filmed in his workshop, he describes the origins of this series as well as his sources of inspiration.
