Turning the story of Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg into a movie was anything but a straight-forward business.
The Social Network, which is set to be released in the UK on 15 October, tells Zuckerberg's success story of the gifted Harvard student, who managed to turn his idea of creating an online social network into a multi-million dollar business, thereby becoming the youngest billionaire in history.
His success, however, brought him both personal and legal complications from many sides, and Aaron Sorkin, who wrote the screenplay for the film, says it was not easy to come out with a story that would pay all parties justice.
"We ended up with three very different versions of what happened. So rather than pick one version and decide that's the truth, ... what I really liked was that there three different versions of the truth."
Stars of the film include Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, Justin Timberlake as Napster co-founder Sean Parker, Andrew Garfield, Brenda Song, Max Minghella, Rooney Mara and Armie Hammer.
