The embankment of Gandak broke on 15th September, the same way as Koshi embankment had broken on 18th August 2008, and several lakhs of people are affected. Meanwhile, elections to Bihar Legislative Assembly have also been announced and soon the state will go to several phase polls.
We remember, no action has been taken against those who bungled on Koshi two years back, though all indicators proove criminal negligence of Bihar Government for its responsibility of the Koshi Tragedy.
