Amy Winehouse has apologised to Mark Ronson for saying he was "dead" to her in a Twitter rant.

The jazz-style singer made the online comment after she felt the music producer had stolen her thunder after comments he made to Jools Holland about her Back To Black album.

Amy, 27, initially tweeted: "Ronson you're dead to me; one album I write and you take half the credit - make a career out of it? Don't think so BRUV."

Speaking on a TV breakfast show, Mark said he felt confused by Amy's rant, called her "a friend" and credited Amy with putting him on the musical map.

Amy has since been back to Twitter posting the message: "Ronson I love you; that make it better? You know I love you - it's a Jew thingz."
