Vince Vaughn's joined the US Army's Golden Knights for a skydiving trip over Lake Michigan and documented the adventure on YouTube.
Dressed in a bright yellow jumpsuit, the Wedding Crasher's actor was strapped to an Army expert for his jump.
Vince, 40, was told he could bring a guest with him for the stunt and chose his mum Sharon.
The YouTube video recorded Vince boarding the plane, chatting at two-and-a-half-miles above Chicago just before he jumps, and during the skydive itself.
Having landed safely on the beach afterwards, Vince said: "Awsome. That was so fun. It was incredible. Really enjoyed it."
