American pianist Stephen Bishop (alt. Bishop-Kovacevich) is soloist in this 1970 performance of the third movement of the Grieg piano concerto in A minor, Op. 16. Colin Davis conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra in this recording, made when Bishop was 30 years old. I created this video from the LP pictured above, "Grieg-Schumann Piano Concertos," issued on the Philips label in 1972, serial number 6500 166.
