The son of Pakistan president Asif Ali Zardari has angrily denied using the country's devastating floods for his own political gain.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also defended his father's visit to the UK as he launched a formal appeal for aid at the Pakistan High Commission in London.
Calling on the public to donate to the cause, he said: "This is not the time to play politics."
When asked whether he was using his father's trip to launch his political career, the Oxford graduate shouted: "No, no. That is all lies."
Meanwhile, the floods in Pakistan are expected to worsen over the coming days as more heavy rains are forecast.
UN officials said more than half a million people had been evacuated in the southern Sindh province, where rural villages along the Indus river are under threat.
