Robbie Williams to play Help for Heroes benefit

Robbie Williams is set to perform at a charity concert for injured service men and women.


The Help for Heroes benefit takes place at Twickenham Stadium on 12 September. Williams is one of a host of stars lined up to take part, including Alexandra Burke, Pixie Lott, James Blunt and The Saturdays.


Comedians Michael McIntyre, Jack Dee and Jason Manford will also be on the bill, along with special guest Bruce Forsyth. More acts are still to be announced.


Help for Heroes raises money to support troops injured in service and their families. 600,000 fans are expected to attend the Twickenham event with proceeds going to the charity.


Tickets for the concert go on sale on Wednesday 4 August.
