In Gospel for the memorial of St Martha Our Lord arrives at the home of Martha, Mary and Lazarus after Lazarus dies. Here Martha runs out to greet Our Lord and expresses her great faith in Him to raise up her brother. This shows how much progress she has made since the last visit of Our Lord when He reprimanded her for being too concerned with many things. Let us pray for the grace to progress like Martha.
