Bumblebee Conservation Trust has been named as a finalist in the 'Best Environment Project Category' of the National Lottery Awards 2010. The awards recognise the amazing work being done by lottery-funded groups across the UK. The aim is to highlight the significant difference that projects - both large and small - make to communities everywhere and to celebrate the achievements of the people behind them.
The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was founded to raise awareness about bumblebee declines and the consequences for our countryside and food security. It also works with members of the public, farmers and land managers to prevent further declines and look after bumblebee populations for future generations.
