Emma Bunton says rumours that a Spice Girls movie is in the pipeline are not true.
Taking to her twitter page, the mum-of-one said:
"Guys I'm sorry but I DID NOT mention that we would be doing another film! But we r very excited about r musical in the theatre!" (sic)
Rumours have been rife that as well as the upcoming Spice Girls musical Viva Forever, Emma, Victoria, Geri, Mel B and Mel C were also working a movie adaptation.
But it seems Spice Girls fans will just have to be content with the West End show which is due to open in November.
Despite being panned by critics, the girl band's 1997 movie Spice World took over £40 million at the box office.
