Spain beat Germany to advance to first-ever final spot

WORLD CUP - A goal by defender Carles Puyol allowed Spain to advance to their first-ever World Cup final when they defeated Germany 1-0 on Wednesday. Spain will now face the Netherlands on Sunday at Soccer City in Johannesburg.
