Govt signs 31 production sharing contracts under NELP-VIII

The government has signed 31 production sharing contracts under the eighth round of the New Exploration Licensing Policy (NELP-VIII) with 20 companies. Of the 70 blocks offered in NELP-VIII, only 36 attracted bids from interested companies.
