Mariah Carey and her husband are fuelling speculation that they are expecting their first child.
The actress and singer, 40, has pulled out of her role in Tyler Perry's film, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf.
The star's husband took to Twitter to quell the gossip, but only made matters worse.
Nick Cannon said: "If & when my wife is ready to make ANY announcements about private matters she will do it personally."
The couple, who have been married since 2008 and recently renewed their vows, have made no secret of their wish to have children.
Grammy winning star Mariah also gave a cryptic clue at an awards do, saying: "Something else very special is on the way."
