As cloud computing services are getting more traction with end-user organizations, the majority of organizations are still moving only some of their IT services into the cloud while managing other services internally. These types of hybrid environments create new management challenges as organizations need new visibility and management capabilities for ensuring the optimal use of computing resources while maintaining high levels of performance of IT services. Having full visibility into the utilization of cloud resources and being able to make educated decisions about adding and subtracting resources that are moved to the cloud allow organizations to achieve the full benefits of cloud computing from both operational and business perspectives.
