Briton Howard Webb will referee the Champions League final between Bayern Munich and Inter Milan on Saturday, UEFA have announced.

Webb, 38, will head an all-English team officiating at the match at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium with Michael Mullarkey and Darren Cann acting as his linesmen, and Martin Atkinson, who like Webb is a Premier League referee, as the fourth official.

Webb has officiated at 47 UEFA matches in his refereeing career, and is England's only referee at next month's World Cup finals in South Africa.

The Yorkshireman has taken charge of 19 Champions League fixtures since joining the international ranks in 2005.

He refereed six games this season including the home leg of Inter's quarter-final against CSKA Moscow.

The Champions League final kicks off at 1945 BST.
