Angry Julie Andrews fans ask for their money back

Dozens of angry Dame Julie Andrews fans who watched the musical icon's first London concert for decades have asked for their money back.

Her beautiful voice was famously damaged after throat surgery 14 years ago, and it had been feared she might never sing again, so fans were thrilled by the news of her return.

Many had been expecting the 74-year-old to sing all night at the O2 on Saturday, but in the end, she was only able to perform a few numbers, supported by other professional singers.

In January, Dame Julie told us: "I'm very worried that people think I'm making this huge comeback concert because my voice has been restored - that is not the case.

"I use a kind of sing-speaking technique, which is fun, and I don't think when people come to the Dome in May that they'll be disappointed."

But, it seems, that was not the case and many fans have asked for their tickets -which cost in the region of £60 to £100 - to be refunded.
