Former EastEnders star Tamsin Outhwaite wowed the audience on the opening night of Broadway classic Sweet Charity.
The actress plays unlucky dancehall waitress Charity Hope Valentine. She first appeared in the role in a production in 2009.
Outhwaite admits she was relieved to get through her first performance at the Haymarket Theatre Royal without a hitch.
"The nerves were flowing and I think by the time I got to the interval I was feeling very supported.
"It was just one of those evenings, which you want to kind of bottle and just put it away and if you're ever feeling low, let it out," said the 39-year-old.
Sweet Charity also stars Mark Umbers, Josefina Gabrielle and Tiffany Graves and runs until January 2011.
