Can you think of anything more confusing and hectic than moving day? It is impossible to remember everything that has to be done without writing it down in some semblance of order. You will write in the notebook things that have to be done i.e. four weeks before you move make arrangements with the movers or order the truck if you are doing the moving. Notify the post office of a change of address and notify the utilities, cable and satellite company and other such services. Call your family and friends and enlist their help. Go shopping and get markers, boxes, newspapers, bubble wrap or other packing materials for those fragile items. At this point separate the things you want to keep from those you don't want.
