Jack Tweed prayed to late wife Jade Goody moments before the verdict in the rape case against him was read out.
Speaking on ITV 1's This Morning Tweed admitted: It was horrible. I just went to the toilets and I actually prayed to Jade. And I donât really do that a lot â" I do pray sometimes but I donât really talk to Jade because I just feel stupid but it was probably the first or second time that I have done it. I just sat there for ten or fifteen minutes in the toilet just praying."
Tweed also admitted he contemplated suicide after being arrested on two counts of rape.
He promised to make every effort to be in the lives of Goody's children, as she had wanted: "My main concern was the boys because I thought as soon as I got arrested I thought âthatâs itâ, Iâm never going to see them again. I was spiraling out of control anyway and then this happens. Thatâs the main thing that broke my heart thinking that I was never going to see them again."
In relation to his future antics on nights out Tweed went on to say: "Iâm a twenty two year old boy, you only live once. But Iâm not going to live how I was living, Iâm still going to have a few nights out, and Iâm still going to go on holiday with my mates because Iâve not been away for two years⦠I donât wanna waste my life."
