Around 50 celebs walked the ramp at a suburban hotel on Saturday to support the cause of preventing female foeticide. The event was organised by Anu and Shashi Ranjan’s NGO called Beti. The dresses, which ranged from sarees to ghaghra cholis to western gowns, were designed by Archana Kochchar. The beauties who walked the ramp included Reshmi Ghosh, Barkha Bisht, Divya Dutta, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Yuvika Chaudhary, Suchitra Krishnamoorthy and Suchitra Pillai. Amrita Rao drew a lot of wolf whistles when she walked in a red ensemble. But it was Zeenat Aman who had the audience applauding appreciatively when she glided in a white gown with a diamond necklace to the tune of Dum Maaro Dum.
