Denise Van Outen and husband Lee Mead have become parents for the first time to a baby girl.
Betsy Mead entered the world weighing 7lb 10oz and mother and baby are said to be doing well according to the couple's representative, with Denise saying she is "ecstatic" about the arrival of their daughter.
Thirty-five-year-old Denise and West End theatre actor Lee met on the reality show Any Dream Will Do.
Lee won the competition and went on to star in Andrew Llloyd Webber's musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
The couple married last year in a private ceremony in the Seychelles.
Having just finished his run in Oscar Wilde's Lord Arthur Savile's Crime, 28-year-old Lee is due to start in the West End musical Wicked on May 10th.
