Shen Yun Performers Share Their Thoughts

In Tainan, Taiwan, a tea party was held to celebrate Shen Yun Performing Arts' successful run across the country. Audience members met with some of the performers, who share their thoughts.

Since Shen Yun Performing Arts began its tour across Taiwan on March 19th, more than 70-thousand people have seen the show. To celebrate the successful shows in Taiwan, a tea party was held in Tainan, where audience members met with the performers.

Shen Yun choreographer and principal dan cer Michelle Ren says she hopes the performance can benefit the audience’s mind, body and spirit.

“After watching the performance, many audience members feel as if they have changed, their bodies feel light, they sleep well or the things they eat also taste more fragrant. It is because this pure, divine culture is beneficial to people.”

Yungchia Chen (pronounced: Yong-jia Chen), also a choreographer and principal dancer in Shen Yun, was formerly a council member of the Taiwan-based Dance Association of the Republic of China. Performing in Taiwan has a special significance for him.
