Mark Ronson's passion for vintage fashion has led the music producer to design his first collection of trainers for luxury fashion label Gucci.

The Brit teamed up with the Italian brand to create a pair for Gucci's Icon temporary pop up sneaker stores.

The concept has already celebrated success with its shops in New York and Miami. A London branch has just opened. For the next three weeks customers will be able to browse through the exclusive collection in trendy Covent Garden.

It features a range of exclusive men and women shoes designed by Gucci's creative director Frida Giannini. The Gucci Ronson, a collaborative effort by Ronson and Giannini, is the highlight of the collection.

"I went to see their fashion show and I just loved all their clothes" remembers Ronson. "And she (creative director, Frida Giannini) said 'Would you be interested in doing some design?'"

Next stop for the Gucci Icon pop up store will be Tokyo.
