Naomi storms out of interview

Did Naomi Campbell push over a camera? It is one of the questions being asked after the supermodel's explosive interview with ABC.

The British catwalk queen was repeatedly asked whether she was given a blood diamond by former Liberian president Charles Taylor, who is now standing trial for war crimes.

Naomi replied: "I didn't receive a diamond and I'm not going to speak about that thank you very much. And I'm not here for that."

The reporter then asked whether she had dined with deposed despot Taylor. But Naomi insisted: "I had dinner with Nelson Mandela."

The star, 39, stormed out soon after. But footage showed the camera suddenly falling over as she made her way past it.

Prosecutors for a UN-backed Special Court for Sierra Leone say Naomi has refused their requests to be interviewed.

The allegations first came to light when, actress and activist, Mia Farrow told prosecutors about the supposed gift, which dates to 1997, when the pair were guests of Nelson Mandela's in South Africa. Mia said: "You don't forget when a girlfriend tells you she was given a huge diamond."
