This program prepares you for a career as a mental health professional, working with emotionally and behaviourally troubled children, adolescents and their families.
Learn principles and theories relating to human behaviour, factors affecting emotional growth and development, as well as practical skills in communication, treatment, teamwork and dealing with people.
Faculty work closely with you to support skills development and growth. You will benefit from supervised field placements in a variety of clinical settings structured to meet your needs and interests.
Textbooks and other related materials cost about $600 a year. Placements may involve additional transportation costs. There will also be a course materials fee each semester to cover handouts and in-class supplies.
