Well I was heading off to Wanganui to see the latest grandchild and happened to see these three vehicles on the road. Now that is not something you don't see every day - three horse drawn carriages. So a quick cell phone call to Lizzie to grab a camera and get up the road to see what they were about. What a cool adventure - a horse drawn carriage journey from Taihape to Napier. You would certainly have the time to take in all the sights and sounds of the North Island high country. Fantastic!
