India's national sport, hockey will be boosted if helped by Bollywood and the Indian Premier League, believes Mir Ranjan Negi, the former India goalkeeper."Cricket thrives largely on the support of Bollywood stars and corporates. I wish a few of these bigwigs work towards the development of hockey as well," said Negi at a sports seminar in Mumbai yesterday. "It would help if Bollywood stars as well as IPL players gave some of their earnings to our hockey players," he said.
