Sandra Bullock's husband Jesse James has broken his silence over the reports he had an affair.
In a statement the 41-year-old said: "The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment."
The motorbike enthusiast and reality star is taking responsibility for the scandal and apologised to the actress and his three children.
"There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me." he said. "It's because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way."
He added: "This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me."
Less than two weeks after Sandra picked up a best actress honour for her movie The Blind Side, US magazine In Touch published a story with a woman claiming to have had a relationship with Jesse.
The 45-year-old rom-com favourite subsequently pulled out of her British premiere for The Blind Side, citing "unforseen personal reasons".
