Shia Labeouf has opened up about his relationship with Bafta winning actress Carey Mulligan.
The Transformers actor is usually pretty tight-lipped when it comes to discussing his personal life.
He told American GQ magazine: "I never really had anything in my life that was off-limits. But with this, just out of respect, I just don't want to [expletive] around."
The 23-year-old did confess how much he admires his girlfriend.
"She's an unbelievably thought-provoking actress, the most talented actress I've ever met in my life, by leaps and bounds. Neither one of us are fame whores. It works out. It's not like we're the premiere couple; we're not the red-carpet king and queen."
With recent headlines dominated by the news that Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes have called time on their six-and-a-half-year marriage there is some encouragement from Shia that the next generation of Hollywood golden couples are going strong.
