Jessica Simpson is returning to MTV for a new show called "The Price of Beauty" which will see her travel the world learning new beauty rituals.
Simpson made her name six years ago when she starred in MTV's reality show "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica".
The singer is now returning to MTV networks to front a show for VH1 where she will study local fashions, dietary fads and beauty regimes.
The first episode takes Jessica to Thailand to explore the dangers of skin whitening and to meet a tribe that practices neck-lengthening.
The show will also follow Jessica on trips to Japan, France, Brazil, Uganda, Morocco and India.
