In today's Gospel we read: By the Lord this has been done; and it is wonderful in our eyes. Both the first reading (Joseph's prophecy that he will rule over his brothers) and the Gospel (The parable of the vineyard tenants) talk of extraordinary prophecies. Fr. Angelo preaches on how these prophecies are at first rejected but in the end they are fulfilled by this very rejection and even become the means to save the rejectors. This is especially true with Christ. Ave Maria! Friday of the Second Week in Lent - Mass: EF, Ego Autem - Readings: 1st: gen 37:6-22 - Gsp: mat 21:33-46
