For more than 48 hours, Iyer body remained inside flat no 16 that was latched from inside. He was spotted lying on the bed in his bedroom in a bermuda. A few stains of blood were spotted on the bed sheet, everything else inside the 1 BHK apartment was found to be intact. The police are still clueless about anything missing or stolen from the apartment.
Preliminary inquires by the police revealed that Iyer was last seen on Saturday midnight by the security guards when he alighted from a taxi and thereafter no one saw him.
