Floods Welcomed in New South Wales, Australia

In Australia, heavy rains are flooding parts of New South Wales. Riverbeds and creeks are being watched in case their banks break.

State Emergency service workers are out in rescue boats checking rivers, dams and creeks to monitor the flood situation.

But, despite the concerns over flooding, many farmers are relieved to see so much rain. The region had been parched with drought until now.

Heavy downpours are expected to continue for the next four days.
