Intro
The MAKS airshow is a bi-annual international airshow showcasing Russian civilian and military aviation as well as overseas producers involved in the aircraft business.
It is held in Zhukosky, just outside the Russian capital, Moscow.
The show first took place in 1992, and started mainly as an entertainment event, but has quickly grown to a marketplace both for Russian and international companies.
Airshows are usually put on by the world’s leading aerobatics groups.
This year 700 different Russian and international airplane and parts manufacturers are displaying their latest products.
