This appears to be a pseudonym for Al Mitchell's band. As early as 1923, Mitchell led the Arcadia Orchestra was one of the smaller orchestras associated with Paul Whiteman, playing at the Arcadia, Providence, R. I in 1923. He also played in the Whiteman Sextette; in the early 30's he led several studio outfits. Further information about his career is difficult to retrieve. This lovely record was made in 1934 and the vocalist is Dick Robertson.
